What is panic attack?       

It is a type of sudden episode of intense fear that reaches a peak within minutes. It can be a very frightening and overwhelming experience.

Panic attack can occur at any time, even if there are no visible signs. It can be triggered by stress, anxiety and several underlying mental health conditions like social anxiety disorders and post-traumatic stress disorders (PTSD). You may also have occasional panic attacks or they may occur frequently.

It can be trigged by some specific situations or they can occur without any specific cause.it can be commonly trigged by trauma and some medical conditions. It can be typically last for 30 minutes. However, the fear of having another attack be last for several days. The fear of having again panic attack leads to change in behavior and daily lifestyle.   • Sense of danger and many more.

Other symptoms include psychological symptoms like:

  • Feelings of quick death
  • Quick anxiety or fear
  • Fear of losing control

If you think you might experience a panic attack, first thing you have to do is to stay calm:

  • Find a safe place to sit.
  • Close your eyes and take a deep breathe.
  • Make your mind strong enough to calm down over that situation.
  • Pick an object from the room and describe it in a full detail.
